What is SharingChurch?

SharingChurch is about sharing the Christian life

And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” – Hebrews 13:16

SharingChurch is a service for churches and other Christ-centered organizations to build and manage effective sharing programs. We allow your members to display the items, services or skills that they are willing to share with others, as well as to post needs, effectively producing an efficient and easy to use service that encourages sharing and good stewardship within your church. SharingChurch addresses the problem that many churches have with how to meet needs within the church once it has grown beyond the ability to use spreadsheets and notebooks.

Why Sharing Management Software?

SharingChurch addresses the two primary reasons we believe people don’t share more: awareness and fear. By providing a platform where members can list the items, skills or services they are willing to share (or need), we bring awareness.  It’s this awareness, along with a culture of sharing and helping, that removes fear.  Members seek help within the church body first, and save money by avoiding rental fees and needless purchases.

Why SharingChurch?

SharingChurch is a product of a great deal of planning and prayer.  After searching without luck for resources that facilitated sharing, we were determined to develop a solution that fills the gap.  Our hope is that it promotes stronger relationships and relieves economic burdens, possibly freeing up resources for meeting needs within the community.

Meet the SharingChurch Family:

Johnathan Brandon (Co-Founder)
Johnathan is responsible for sales and operations.  He’s the guy with the big ideas, and he usually underestimates how much work is involved with making them a reality. (Matt often suffers as a result.)  Johnathan is married to Angie and they have three children.  Johnathan and Matt are brothers.

Matt Brandon (Co-Founder)
Matt is our “developer at large” which is funny because he weighs in at a buck fifteen (Johnathan is a little jealous.)  Matt makes the magic happen, turning ideas into a quality product and is constantly tweaking the software to make it more efficient and more powerful.  Matt is married to Lauren and they have a little boy.

Angie Brandon (Co-Founder)
Angie handles all things finance, which she says is “not as boring as it sounds.”  We’re not buying it. Right now her primary job is to make sure we don’t spend money, seeing as we’re not making any.  She and Lauren get first crack at new features so that they can catch anything before our customers do.

Lauren Brandon (Co-Founder)
Lauren is our master black belt in organization and planning (three words. . . family vacation agenda).  Lauren has a masters from Vanderbilt University, which she uses in her roles of marketing and public relations.
